Growing up on a farm, I now realize how fortunate I was to experience such a humble beginning. I am grateful for my childhood and appreciate every moment; it taught me invaluable lessons, particularly about hard work and responsibility. The years I spent laboring in the gardens and fields, harvesting vegetables and sharecropping, instilled in me the importance of family values, determination, collaboration, community, and social and fiscal responsibility.
I have come to understand that life holds no meaning without purpose, and without meaning, life lacks significance. Knowing my purpose has simplified and motivated my life to the point where I am now driven and guided by my goal of launching my own business, Pittmore Publishing, specializing in desktop publishing, document layout, and graphic design.
Throughout my professional career, I have been fortunate to work in various roles with Fortune 500 companies. I have successfully developed and implemented corporate style guides, created and revised flight technical manuals for the U.S. Navy, designed business logos, imported text, graphics, and charts, and formatted and proofed technical documents.
